Report Builder 2.0 has a few known issues, which are documented here.
Symptom: Report Builder 2.0 Help does not display when the locale of installed Report Builder does not match the locale of operating system
If the locale of the installed Report Builder does not match the locale of the operating system, the locale of Report Builder 2.0 defaults to English. However, Help does not default to English Help. Help does not display at all. The one exception is when an English version of Report Builder 2.0 is installed on a non-English version of the operating system. In this case of mismatching locales, the English version of Report Builder and Help are available.
Symptom: Preview mode in Report Builder 2.0 does not display subreports stored on a SharePoint server or allow drillthrough to reports stored on a SharePoint server
Subreport items that reference reports that are stored on a SharePoint server or drillthrough actions to other reports that are stored on a SharePoint server fail in preview mode. You get the following error message:
The ReportName for the subreport <subreport name> is not valid. (rsInvalidReportUri)
Resolution
An update to the report server that corrects this issue is
available. For more information, see Knowledge Base article KB957111 at
Symptom: The Tutorial "Creating a Quick Chart Report Offline" prompts for credentials
If you follow the steps in the topic "Tutorial: Creating a Quick Chart Report Offline" as written, you will be prompted for credentials and be unable to continue. The tutorial requires one more step to work successfully.
Resolution
Step 5 in the tutorial currently reads: "In the Select connection type box, click XML, and then click OK."
It should read:
5. In the Select connection type box, click XML.
6. Click the Credentials tab, and then select Use current Windows user. Kerberos delegation may be required.
7. Click OK to close the Data Source Properties dialog box.
